Dr Erin Xiao is a consultant neurologist with a subspecialty interest in epilepsy. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland and completed specialist neurology training at Canberra Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital, followed by an epilepsy fellowship at the Westmead Comprehensive Epilepsy Centre.

Dr Xiao is committed to patient-centred care and is actively involved in medical education as a tutor at the University of Melbourne Medical School.

Dr Xiao consults at The Neuro Group on a fortnightly basis, offering both in-person and Telehealth appointments. Her special interests are in the diagnosis and management of:

• Epilepsy and first seizure

• General neurological disorders and presentations
