Jarmin 'Carmen' Zheng

Clinical Neuropsychologist

BA(Hons), MPsych(ClinNeuro)

Carmen is a clinical neuropsychologist, having completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) at the University of Melbourne.


Throughout her clinical training, Carmen has worked in a range of settings including outpatient units in metropolitan and regional hospitals, as well as inpatient rehabilitation. Alongside her clinical work, Carmen is completing a PhD through the University of Melbourne, examining cognitive involvement of brain malformations in patients with epilepsy using functional neuroimaging.


At The Neuro Group, Carmen conducts neuropsychological assessments on a weekly basis (in-person and telehealth), seeing adult patients (over the age of 18) with a variety of neurological conditions. Her special interests include:

  • Epilepsy

  • Neuroimmunological conditions, e.g. multiple sclerosis

  • Stroke

  • Traumatic brain injury

  • Substance abuse

Carmen does not see patients for the purposes of worker’s compensation, medico-legal reports, decision-making capacity, or TAC related claims.
