
Jiamin (Carmen) Zheng

Carmen is a clinical neuropsychologist and PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne. Her thesis examines the impact of developmental brain lesions on cognition in adults with epilepsy. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) at the University of Melbourne.
Carmen completed her clinical training through the Master of Psychology (ClinNeuro) at the University of Melbourne, with placements across general neurology, inpatient rehabilitation, community mental health, and paediatric neurology. Her registrar program included a year-long fellowship in cognitive neuroimmunology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, with further positions at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Austin Health, and Caulfield hospital.
Carmen consults at The Neuro Group on a weekly basis, seeing adult patients across a range of cognitive disorders and conducting capacity assessments. Her areas of special interest include:
