Neurologist, Clinical Neurophysiologist

Matt is a consultant neurologist with subspecialty training in clinical neurophysiology, neuroimmunology and movement disorders. In addition to working at The Neuro Group, he works across various metropolitan and regional settings including Austin, Northern and Grampians Health services (and occasionally Launceston in Tasmania).

Matt grew up in regional Victoria before completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and maintains a strong interest in rural and regional health. He went on to undertake specialist training in neurology at the Alfred Hospital and the Launceston General Hospital, prior to subspecialty training in clinical neurophysiology and neuroimmunology at the Austin Hospital. He has undertaken research in the areas of stroke, myasthenia gravis and autoimmune encephalitis.
 

Matt performs nerve conduction studies and electromyography at The Neuro Group on a monthly basis.
