Dr Sam Gooley is a consultant Neurologist with subspeciality training in epilepsy. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2014. He completed his physician training at the Austin hospital and his neurology training at the Austin and Royal Hobart Hospitals. Additionally, he has completed 3 years of subspecialty training in epilepsy as a clinical fellow at the Bladin-Berkovic Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, Austin Health.

In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in epilepsy research, currently exploring the genetic basis of epilepsy in his PhD through the University of Melbourne.

Dr Gooley consults at The Neuro Group on a monthly basis, offering in-person and Telehealth appointments.

Dr Gooley does not see patients for the purposes of worker’s compensation, medico-legal reports or TAC related claims.
